METAL PIPE SUPPORT AS AN ESSENTIAL ELEMENT OF THE SYSTEM
The construction system of a pipeline provisions a support which bears the weight of the pipes. The support is loaded with the pipeline itself and the matter transported through it, in addition to such factors as temperature, atmosphere etc. It is the pipeline support which guarantees durable seamless functioning of the conveying system. The supports are designed and produced in compliance with the respective construction rules and regulations 2.09.03-85 and 41-02-2003.
REQUIREMENTS TO THE PROCESS OF PRODUCTION OF SUPPORTS
Depending on the type processing medium that is conveyed through the main system of pipes and the purpose of use of the support, the production makes use of various types of steel:
- stainless;
- heat-resistant;
- low-alloy.
Metal supports from carbon steel are one of the more economical production options. However, such supports cannot be used in areas with low temperatures for pipeline systems where the processing medium has a high temperature.
Production of pipeline support is a complex multifaceted process. It is important to carefully adhere to every stage of production, choose the material for production of metal structures wisely, do all the work on advanced equipment. The processed materials have to be corrosion-resistant (galvanized) and durable.
TYPES OF PIPELINE SUPPORT
Our enterprise can produce the following types of support:
- sliding — prone to sliding, which guarantees effective absorption of thermal deformation in the conveying system;
- fixed — capable of withstanding a high volume of horizontal load. Mounting of special compensators allows to prevent longitudinal deformation of racks under the strain of huge temperature swing. This type of supports can have various form factors;
- custom – depending on the special performance characteristics, you may need a certain type of support. We can develop a project and produce supports of a specific shape.
Sliding mobile supports are widely used in land and underground conveying systems.
